Medium FAQ For Beginners

Your most common questions answered by three talented writers on Medium

I remember when I first started writing on Medium, I didn’t have a single clue what was going on. I can’t imagine I’m the only one that had the same confusing experience.

I remember hearing about Medium more than a year ago. It was described as a “blogging platform” to me. For being just a “blogging platform”, Medium sure has lots of stuff going on for it.

As soon as I got my feet wet with writing on Medium, I excitedly told a friend all about my experience on the platform. My friend is an avid reader and aspiring writer herself. She asked me, “Well, how do I get started?”

Unfortunately, many people who want to begin writing on Medium don’t have the time, the connections, or the know-how to get the answers they need to get started.

I’ve always had a passion for helping develop people and unlocking people’s potential. The last thing I would want is for potentially amazing writers to be deterred from writing on Medium because of all the nuances of the…
