I sometimes feel like I am making an impossible ask…
Except I am living it…
Everyday, I am living out the impossible ask…
One day, I got done with being scared of my calling…
I got done with thinking that only special people got to make money doing what they loved…
I decided that if it was true that only special people could, then I WAS DECLARING MYSELF SPECIAL!
How could I be given this powerful call in my heart and be told to bury it under the normalcy of everyday life?
What kind of horrid God/spirit/higher power would that be?
The truth is, I really did kinda resent this being for a long time…
I am female and I had big ideas of leading and I belonged to a religion that said I could not do it and I needed to be humble…
Simply because I was female — Yep, I was resentful, for sure!
But then I realised I was playing the victim, instead of deliberately designing my own life…
I woke up!
And took responsibility for my own life, my own dreams, my own vision…
And in that moment, I realised that the Divine had been waiting for me to choose…
To use my freedom to claim the life I truly desired.
And yes, it was scary…
Yes, I wondered if I was insane to think I could do it…
But in the end, what was the alternative?
To live and die in the wrong life?
To bury my desires, my dreams and pretend to be happy in some ‘half-life’?!
NO!
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
And so, yes, I am making an impossible ask of you…
Choose you…
Choose your calling…
Choose to learn how to monetize it…
Choose to put yourself in the Assembly where you can get support…
Choose to show up and ask for the support…
Choose to figure out how to make your vision a living breathing and profitable thing…
Because you can.
It was not given to you to taunt you…
It was not given to you to mess with your emotions and leave you feeling dissatisfied all the time…
Why would you fight to remain in that state?
When you could be free?
A deliberate designer of your life?
YES, I MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE ASK
But you know what, only come if you are committed…
There is a lot to do and most are NOT up to the task though they all could be…
Yes, they all could be and that is what hurts my heart the most at times, the knowledge that everyone could choose to live out their calling but ultimately, they just don’t…
So, I have asked you before and I will ask you again…
If so, come into the Assembly prepared to show up and claim back your real life…
